Description: The Golden Dragon Acrobats, a world-renowned Chinese troupe, will begin Harding’s annual Lyceum Series Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. in the Administration Auditorium at the University.
The company of 27 acrobats from Cangzhou, Hebei province in China incorporates acrobatics, traditional dance, costumes, ancient and contemporary music and theatrical techniques in all of their performances under the direction of impresario Danny Chang and choreographer Angela Chang. Their awards include the National Association of Campus Activities (NACA) Entertainer of the Year and the Campus Activities Today’s Performer of the Year.
