Come to Spring Park and have some FUN! Saturday, May 10 is the day! 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. is the time! The event is being sponsored by the Relay For Life of Cleburne County as a community fund raiser and to raise awareness for the American Cancer Society and its Relay For Life program
We’ll have entertainment in the Band Shell! There will be activities for children from teens to toddlers including a rock climbing wall, petting zoo, pony rides, and games for children of all ages! Relay for Life teams will be on hand with a variety of fund raising booths. There will be a Mini Relay Activity Course set up to educate the children on nutrition, physical fitness, sun safety, and staying tobacco free and how these factors relate to cancer prevention. A representative from American Cancer Society will provide information about research and other services provided by the organization in Cleburne County and Arkansas. Food vendors will be on hand so you can come spend the day having fun while learning about cancer prevention.
In addition to the Fun Day In The Park activities which will benefit the Relay For Life of Cleburne County, Erin Golden Miss Arkansas International 2008 will be presenting the Little Miss and Miss Spring Time Pageants during the day, and the Mrs. Fun Fashion in the Park at 7 p.m. The pageants will be held in the Amphitheater, and all proceeds will benefit Hospice.
