were taken and Broadcasting career literature was distributed.
2. KFLI took part in a program in which the station donated part of the monies
from it’s sports coverage proceeds were donated to the Cabot High School to
be used in part for training students for sports broadcasting and to purchase
broadcasting equipment.
3. Conducted training class with upper management (Sales Manager) of KFLI on the
methods of insuring Equal Employment Opportunities according to the EEO Policies

make contacts for interns and job applicants for a market of our size.
4. Conducted training class with upper management (Sales Manager) of KFLI on
the methods of insuring Equal Employment Opportunities according to the
EEO Policies of the FCC. (May 2019).
5. KFLI engaged an intern from Harding University for the Fall semester (2019).
The intern worked and average of 12/15 hours and was exposed to all aspects
of broadcasting.

2. KFLI participated in the Arkansas Broadcaster Association Internship program in which
a Harding University student was hired. The intern completed the 10 week program required.
He also served another 2 months completing an internship program for Harding University.
3. KFLI took part in a program in which the station donated part of the monies
from its sports coverage proceeds were donated to the Cabot High School to
be used in part for training students for sports broadcasting and to purchase
broadcasting equipment.
4. KFLI took part in the Searcy Regional Business Expo (July 24th, 2018). These expos are an
excellent venue to make contacts for interns and job applicants for a market of our size.

insuring Equal Employment Opportunities according to the EEO Policies of the FCC. (March, 2018).
6. KFLI participate in the Senior Community Service Employment Program job fair by
producing a psa for the event and donating air time to promote the job fair. Senior Community
Service Employment Program is a United States Department of Labor sponsored program.
The event took place on December 20, 2018 at the White County Area on Aging Senior
Center.
7. KFLI worked with Harding University students on a program about Opioid Abuse Prevention which
the students came in and did the ads in production.

applications and intern applications were taken. Literature provided by the
Arkansas Broadcasters Association was handed out.
8. KFLI engaged an intern from Harding University for the Fall semester.

9. KFLI hosted a guided tour for two Searcy Junior High on February 9, 2017 in which the
students were able to spend time with our on-air personalities for air shifts.

high school students. One in August and one in December.

5. KFLI held a tour of the station for Tiger Scouts Searcy Troup 128 on February the 14th,
2014. It was hosted by on-air personality Terry England. The boys were allowed to speak
on air telling their names and Troup name.

equal employment opportunities according to the EEO Policies of the FCC. (January 15, 2015).
7. KFLI participated in a state program called Jobs for America Graduates. The program helps to
build skills in the classroom and develop leadership skills to improve employability in the
broadcasting field. Mock interviews were held for job openings in broadcasting during April
and May of 2014.
