Kiss released their first live album "Alive!" on September 10, 1975. The band formed in New York City in 1973 and has since recorded 28 albums that have been certified gold, the most for any American group. "Alive!" was the first top 10 album for kiss, charting for 110 weeks and according to Guitar World is the #3 live album of all time. The album produced the hit single "Rock and Roll All Nite". Still touring in 2013, Kiss is in the headlines this week, offering quarterback Tim Tebow a three-year contract with their new Arena Football League team the L.A. Kiss.
