Title: Poet Anne Waldman to Be Residence Feb. 24-25

Description: Poet Anne Waldman will be on the University of Central Arkansas campus as artist in residence to give a public reading Thursday, Feb. 24 at 7:30 p.m. in the College of Business auditorium.
The event is free and open to the public with a book signing to follow.
According to www.PoetsPath.com/waldman, Waldman is both a poet and a teacher who has wowed audiences throughout the United States and around the world. She has written more than 42 books, most recently Manatee/Humanity, and has been recognized as a major and a mature voice in American poetry. She is currently working on the third book for the series lovis.
