Per the United States Flag Code (4 U.S. Code ยง 7(m)), United States flag and the state flag of Arkansas should be lowered to half-staff immediately honoring former Vice President Walter Mondale (1977-1981), who passed away Monday, April 19, 2021, at the age of 93.
Flags are to remain at half-staff until the day of interment. Date of interment has not been disclosed at this time.
